 Surgical Weight Loss Procedure Information Seminars George Woodman, M.D., of Midsouth Bariatrics will talk about the benefits and risks of weight loss surgery and its growing use in the treatment of morbid obesity. Woodman, one of the first surgeons in the U.S. to perform the LAP-BAND® System procedure, has performed numerous weight-loss surgeries. Registration is not required. For more information and to register for the following classes, please call (901) 226-5764. 2010 Childbirth Classes  Saturday Childbirth Education An alternative for those who can't attend on weeknights, this all-day Saturday class covers the basics of childbirth: what to expect in labor and delivery, pain management options and breathing and relaxation techniques. A tour of labor and delivery unit is also included. The fee for this class is $75.
Breastfeeding Classes
This class covers the basics of breastfeeding, getting started, returning to work and resources for assistance and information. The cost is $30.
