Offering some of the most sophisticated diagnostic equipment in North Mississippi, the Baptist DeSoto Outpatient Diagnostic Center opened in December 2002 with nearly filmless technology. The center is the home of DeSoto County’s first open magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine. In addition, the center houses an advanced computerized tomography (CT) scanning machine, a high-field 1.5 Tesla MRI machine, two radiographic rooms and two ultrasound rooms, which enable the center’s staff to perform a full battery of tests. Dedicated admissions and scheduling staff work with patients to make testing convenient and rapid. Caring diagnostic staff strives to make the testing experience pleasant and worry-free.
