Baptist Memorial Hospice-Golden Triangle is Mississippi’s third oldest hospice programs providing comprehensive services to terminally ill patients and their families in their homes for more than 20 years. Baptist Hospice along with the entire Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle facility, is accredited by the Joint Commission, an organization that accredits nearly 15,000 health care organizations nationwide.

Beyond pain management related to end-of-life issues, Baptist Hospice-Golden Triangle uses an interdisciplinary team approach to meet the physiological, sociological, educational, spiritual and emotional needs of patients and their families. The team is guided by the patient’s attending physician and hospice medical director and includes registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, a chaplain, physical therapists, bereavement counselors, a speech pathologist and volunteers who help enable terminally ill individuals to live where they most want – in their homes surrounded by family and friends.

Our commitment to quality care continues well after the patient’s death, we offer loved ones 13 months of our bereavement assistance, and we offer the community a grief counseling group as well as an education and support group for loved ones who care for chronically ill patients in the home.

Baptist Hospice-Golden Triangle also offers a hospice volunteer training program and a monthly support group, offering practical information, training and support for people who are caring for a loved one at home.

Each year, Baptist Hospice-Golden Triangle hosts a memorial service for families. During this time, family members can publicly acknowledge their loved ones and memorialize them.
