Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle laboratory provides a variety of routine and reference laboratory testing for physicians' offices, business and industry, nursing care facilities and hospitals. Laboratory analysis using microbiology, serology, coagulation, hematology, immunology and chemistries are offered. Infectious disease testing, including HIV screening as well as analysis for drug abuse, is also performed. The lab also offers a full service blood bank.
The lab is fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is directed by board-certified pathologists. The pathologists and staff specialists are available for consultation with clients concerning the significance of test results, unusual cases and technical matters.
