The oncology department at NEA Baptist is an acute care facility that offers cancer care close to home. The program treats a broad range of cancers, including, but not limited to, leukemias, lymphomas, breast cancers, colon cancers, lung cancers and multiple myeloma.
Our oncology program is dedicated to providing quality and advanced care to cancer patients. For our patients’ and physicians’ convenience, we offer both oncology and hematology care for adults and children. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Chemotherapy - for the treatment of cancer
- Blood and blood products - for the treatment of anemia and thrombocytopenia
- Antibiotic therapy - for the treatment of infections
- IVIG therapy - for the treatment of various hematologic and immune disorders
- Avonex injections - for the treatment of multiple sclerosis
- Growth factor injections - for the treatment of low red blood cells and white blood cells
The staff of NEA Baptist provides a caring atmosphere of skilled staff and comfortable accommodations for our patients. In addition to 11 beds in oncology, our infusion room includes five recliners and a television. We want to make your visit to the hospital as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
