James Russell Huffman
administrator and chief executive officer
James Russell Huffman is the administrator and chief executive officer for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County. Before coming to the hospital, he served as chief financial officer at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle, a position he held since 2002. At Baptist Golden Triangle, he oversaw the areas of finance, materials management, internal audit, business office, admissions/outpatient registration, the hospitalist program, case management and health information management. His accomplishments include managing and directing computer selections and installations and working with major construction project development and completion at the hospital. Huffman also has also helped develop a joint venture surgery center, residential retirement facility and health and wellness center. Huffman has a bachelor’s degree in health care management from Appalachian State University and a master’s degree in finance and a certificate in health care finance from the University of South Carolina.

Kimberly D. High
chief financial officer/controller
Kimberly D. High is chief financial officer/controller for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County, a position she has held since 1996. She oversees internal audit, accounting, business office, materials management and information systems. She also prepares the hospital’s yearly budget and coordinates preparation of audit and cost report schedules. High began her career at Baptist Memorial Health Care in 1994 as a staff accountant at Baptist Union County. She served as controller for Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi from 1995-1996. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Mississippi.

Jay Pullman
assistant administrator
Jay Pullman is assistant administrator of Baptist Memorial Hospital–Union County. He is responsible for the administrative direction for radiation, lab, rehabilitation, wellness, food and nutrition, pharmacy, respiratory services and security.
Since 2006, Pullman has served as the manager of outpatient rehabilitation services and the HealthPlex at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford, Miss. As manager, he oversaw several services, attracted more patients, expanded services and won key physician support.
Prior to joining Baptist, Pullman owned and operated a chain of physical rehabilitation clinics along the Gulf Coast.
Pullman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from the State University of New York in Buffalo, NY.

Barbara Owens
administrative director
Barbara Owens has been a Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County employee for more than 42 years, serving in a variety of capacities. Her roles have included coordinating medical staff, quality assurance, case management, health information management and accreditation. In her position as administrative director, she oversees the case management and health information management departments, and continues to be the quality coordinator and accreditation coordinator for the hospital. Owens earned a degree in business science from Northeast Community College and holds affiliations in the American Health Information Management Association and the Mississippi Health Information Association, as well as the National Association of Quality Professionals.

Lisa Bailey
chief nursing officer
Lisa Bailey currently serves as chief nursing officer for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County and is responsible for nursing practice in all areas inclusive of inpatient and outpatient facilities. She began her career at Baptist Union County after relocating from Forrest City, Ark. in 2006. While at Baptist Union County, she has been an RN in post anesthesia care and nurse manager for the ICU/step-down unit. Her background includes 23 years of acute care experience in many areas of hospital operations, including neurotrauma, ICU, emergency department, outpatient radiology, and nursing education as a nursing instructor.
Bailey received her bachelor of science in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Miss. She is currently working on her master's degree from the University of Phoenix.

Lori N. Goode
director of human resources
Lori N. Goode is the director of human resources for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County. She provides a full range of human resources services by interpreting policy, sharing information and providing timely counsel to managers and employees. She manages recruitment, employee benefit packages, the annual performance review process and the hospital’s compensation plan. She oversees employee health and day-to-day operations of the human resources department. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi.

Nancy C. Kidd
director of marketing/physician relations
Nancy C. Kidd is director of marketing/physician relations for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County. She is responsible for the hospital’s strategic marketing, special events, creative marketing campaigns, media relations, physician relations and physician recruitment. Kidd received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Mississippi. She has received numerous awards, including Top 50 Leading Businesswomen in Mississippi from the Mississippi Business Journal and the New Albany Gazette Reader’s Choice Award for Best Professional Female. She is a graduate of Leadership Mississippi.
