If you think you might have a sleep disorder, download, print and maintain this sleep diary to log activities relevant to sleep quality. Having this information ready can assist a sleep expert with diagnosis and treatment of your disorder.

The Sleep Disorders Center at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County provides diagnostic services and treatment to patients who show symptoms of a sleep disorder.

The sleep clinic is held every Tuesday on the fourth floor of the Multi-Specialty Clinic. The medical director and sleep staff evaluate patients in the sleep clinic to see if further testing is needed. The sleep clinic is a convenient way for individuals to ask questions and be evaluated. If a sleep study is ordered, patients receive their results and treatment plan in the sleep clinic.

More than 80 sleep disorders can affect your sleep. Common disorders monitored in the sleep center are obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, periodic limb movements, narcolepsy and insomnia. During your clinic visit, a history of your sleep and sleep habits are discussed, and you undergo an exam to determine the need for an overnight sleep study.
