Don Hutson Don Hutson
chief executive officer and administrator

Don Hutson is the administrator and CEO of Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. Before coming to the hospital, he held the same position at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City in Tennessee. Hutson joined the Baptist system after retiring as a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army in 2006. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in economics from the University of Mississippi in 1985 and a master's degree in health care administration from Baylor University in 1995. Hutson is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Ann Bishop Ann Bishop
assistant administrator

Ann joined the administrative staff of Baptist Memorial Hospital–North Mississippi as assistant administrator. She has responsibility for the cancer, imaging and outpatient diagnostics, respiratory therapy and pathology.

A Baptist North Mississippi employee since 1995, she has served in several capacities within the Mississippi market. Her previous roles include director of occupational health, director of Baptist Market Services for Mississippi, and director of medical review. She is a registered nurse and has 25 years of healthcare experience.

Ann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and a Master’s degree in nursing administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Peyton Warrington Peyton Warrington
assistant administrator

After earning her Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Arkansas in 1994, Peyton Warrington joined the Baptist North Mississippi team as an Administrative Resident.

Through the years she has served as director of physician services and director of marketing and in 2001 was named assistant administrator. Currently, Peyton oversees various departments including facilities and biomed, transportation and security, sleep, marketing and patient satisfaction. She is also responsible for the hospital’s physician recruitment efforts where she has successfully recruited more than 50 physicians to the Oxford area.

Peyton is married to Todd Warrington and they have one son, Davis. She is a member of the First Baptist Church in Oxford.

Katie Morrissette Katherine Morrisette
chief nursing officer

Katie Morrissette currently serves a chief nursing officer for Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi and is responsible for nursing practice in all areas inclusive of inpatient and outpatient facilities. She came to Baptist as a student and has served in multiple leadership and administrative roles throughout her Baptist career. Her background includes more than 30 years of acute care experience in many areas of hospital operations including medical review services, clinical and ancillary services and nursing. Morrissette holds a diploma from Baptist College of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science from the College of St. Francis.


Dana Williams Dana Williams
chief financial officer

Dana Williams is the chief financial officer of Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi, a position she has held since 1989. She has also served as the chief financial officer of Baptist’s Mississippi market for three years.

Her experience and expertise includes funds management, finance and analysis. Williams earned a bachelor’s of accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi. Williams is active in the Oxford community including involvement as a Chamber of Commerce board member, Junior Auxiliary of Oxford Life Member and a Rotary Club of Oxford member.


Sonia McKeithen Sonia McKeithen
assistant administrator

Sonia McKeithen serves as the assistant administrator of medical review at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi. She is responsible for quality, infection control, risk management, medical staff services, case management, health information management, HIPAA and joint commission.

Prior to working at Baptist North Mississippi, Sonia worked in the ICU at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Miss. Sonia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Mississippi.


Dennis Fisher Dennis Fisher

Serving as human resource director at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi, Dennis Fisher is responsible for all human resources activities and also oversees the hospital’s environmental services, food services and volunteer services.

Before coming to Baptist North Mississippi, Fisher was the human resources director at Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, Georgia. He also served as human resource education consultant for WellStar in Marietta, Georgia.

Fisher received his undergraduate degree in criminal justice from Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi, and his master’s degree in business administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management in Atlanta, Georgia.


Steve Edmonds Steve Edmonds
director pastoral care

Steve Edmonds joined the staff of Baptist North Mississippi in 2004 as the director of pastoral care. In addition to his duties as full-time chaplain for the hospital, Edmonds supervises more than 25 volunteer chaplains, facilitates the ethics committee and administrates the employee emergency assistance fund.

His previous positions with Baptist include: staff chaplain at Baptist Medical Center, the first full-time director of pastoral care for the Baptist Blytheville, Osceola and Forrest City hospitals, Service First coordinator for Baptist Blytheville and market leader in pastoral care for the West Tennessee and East Arkansas market.

Edmonds is an ordained minister in the Southern Baptist Convention and has more than 20 years of ministry experience. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Carson-Newman College, a master of divinity in Christian education from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a one-year residency in basic clinical pastoral education at Clarian Health-Methodist Hospital.
