Baptist North Mississippi Now Offers Epatient Registration
Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi recently began offering Epatient registration.
Baptist patients now can preregister online for hospital visits, tests or procedures before they come to the hospital, eliminating the need to bring personal information on the day of their procedures. To register online, patients can log on to epatient.baptistonline.org and enter their appointment date and time, physician’s name and the procedure they will undergo, along with the Baptist location where they will have their procedure.
“We want to make preparing for hospital visits, procedures or tests as simple as possible for our patients,” said Jim Ainsworth, vice president and Mississippi market leader for Baptist Memorial Health Care. “Besides being more convenient, registering online can save time. All the information patients need to register is right there within reach.”
Epatient registration was piloted at Baptist’s five freestanding metro-Memphis hospitals, including Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. Soon afterward, it was available to patients at all of Baptist’s Mississippi hospitals, including Baptist North Mississippi.
There are five Baptist-affiliated hospitals in Mississippi located at Columbus, Oxford, Southaven, New Albany and Booneville. Each hospital offers a variety of services, including 24-hour emergency care. Although each is affiliated with Baptist Memorial Health Care Corp., each is governed by its own board of directors and locally administered to help the hospital stay attuned to community needs.
