CRASH Course is an exciting expedition into the thrilling field of nursing! Whether you're thinking about a career in nursing or know it’s your true calling, we're glad you stopped by.

What is CRASH Course?
CRASH Course is more than just a summer camp; it takes you along for the ride of your life. Working alongside real nurses, campers will get to see the true world of nursing. From caring for patients to participating in real nursing classes, campers get to see what it is really like to work in health care. Trust us, it’s a little different from TV.

When and where?
CRASH Course offers two sessions in summer 2007, June 4-8 and June 14-18. Campers will spend mornings right in the action at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City and nights on a real college campus, the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Who should apply?
CRASH Course is open to students who have completed their freshman, sophomore or junior year in high school and have an interest in a nursing career.

Who will I meet at CRASH Course?
Aside from making great new friends, campers will meet nurses from several backgrounds and specialties, doctors, radiologists, lab technicians and more. Because campers will spend much of their time at the hospital, campers also will meet real patients, of course.

How much does it cost?
The best part is CRASH Course is offered at no cost to campers. A generous grant from the Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation covers all camp expenses. So, what’s your excuse? Space is limited, so apply now!
