Don Hutson Don Hutson
administrator and chief executive officer

Don Hutson joined Baptist as the administrator and CEO of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City upon his retirement as a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army in 2006. Hutson has served in health care administration roles in hospitals, regional health care contracting offices and field medical units for more than 20 years. Most recently, he served as deputy commander for administration — a position equivalent to chief operating officer — of Winn Army Community Hospital in Fort Stewart, Ga. A native of Corinth, Miss., Hutson received a Bachelor of Business Administration in economics from the University of Mississippi in 1985. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as a Medical Service Corps officer in the U.S. Army. He received a master’s degree in health care administration from Baylor University in 1995. Hutson is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Mike Perryman Mike Perryman

Chief financial officer Mike Perryman began his service with the hospital in 1976 as finance director for Obion County General. After the hospital became Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City, Perryman served as assistant administrator from 1989-1993 and administrator and chief executive officer from 1993-2006. Perryman earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee at Martin.

LeRoy Segraves LeRoy Segraves

LeRoy Segraves came to Baptist Union City in July 1991 as personnel director and administrative assistant after more than 20 years of teaching and coaching at Huntingdon High School. In 1992, Segraves began overseeing home health services, as well as physician recruitment. Plant operations, housekeeping, laundry, food service and security were eventually added to his area of responsibilities. He has also taught leadership classes for the Baptist system. In 1996, he was named assistant administrator and became the safety and risk manager in 1997. In 2004, Segraves assumed responsibilities for behavioral health. He earned a bachelor of science in health and physical education from UT-Martin and a master’s degree in health, physical education and recreation from Murray State University.

Teresa Vinson Teresa Vinson
director of quality and review services

Teresa Vinson has been with the hospital since 1969. As the director of quality and review services, she is responsible for organization-wide initiatives including quality improvement, strategic planning and JCAHO accreditation. Vinson oversees health information management, admission, PBX, medical management and medical staff activities. She is a registered health information technician with the American Health Information Management Association.

Cheryl Mink Cheryl Mink
director of ancillary services

Cheryl Mink, a registered nurse, has been at Baptist Union City since 1982. Mink has served in a variety of capacities at the hospital, including operating room supervisor and director of surgery, before assuming her current position. Prior to coming to Baptist, she worked with Obion County General Hospital for 10 years. Mink was in the first class of nurses to graduate from the University of Tennessee at Martin.

James Caldwell James Caldwell

Prior to being named chief nursing officer in 2003, James Caldwell was the CNO for Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville, Ark. He received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Arkansas State University and a master’s in nursing from the University of Phoenix.

Tammy Hall Tammy Hall
director of human resources

Tammy Hall joined Baptist Union City's staff in November 1989 as the human resources secretary. Hall received her associate's degree in office administration in 1987 from UT-Martin. During her time with Baptist, she was promoted to manager and became the director of human resources in 1997. In this position, she leads human resources programs and services for approximately 480 employees. She participates in the hospital's strategic planning and quality improvement programs, as well as serving on the Service First council, the employee assistance program and the safety committee.
