Health Quest, the first hospital-owned wellness center in the area, has been serving the Union City community since 1995. Conveniently located beside Baptist Outpatient Rehabilitation and E.W. James & Sons Supermarket, it is a full-service exercise and wellness facility with trained exercise specialists providing individualized exercise and weight training instruction, fitness classes, massage therapy and educational seminars.

Massage

Exercise classes include Fit Forever senior fitness, high-impact aerobics, yoga, turbo kickboxing, Pilates and toning classes.

Hours:
Monday – Friday   5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday   8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday   1 to 5 p.m.

*Full family rates apply to you, your spouse and children 14 years of age or older residing at the same address.

Payment Options

Pay Ahead and Save – Save 5 percent by paying your membership fees three months in advance, 10 percent by paying six months in advance and 15 percent by paying a year in advance.
Monthly Bank Draft – A Health Quest membership fee can be automatically debited from your checking account on the first or 15th of every month. You may cancel your membership by notifying Health Quest and signing a cancellation at least one week before the scheduled date of your monthly bank draft.
Payroll Deduction – Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City employees have the option of having their membership fees deducted from their paychecks. Fees are taken out on the second pay period of every month.

Equipment and Classes
Health Quest offers a variety of fitness equipment and classes, including:

Cardiovascular workout equipment, including treadmills, steppers, bikes, NuStep® rowers, and ellipticals
Complete strength training circuit by Cybex
Toning classes
Aerobics classes
Yoga
Pilates
Turbo kickboxing
A full set of free weights with dumbbells ranging from 3 to 150 lbs.

Health Quest also offers wellness classes, including smoking cessation, stress management and corporate seminars. Speakers are available for clubs and civic groups, as well. In addition, special programs, such as the Prenatal Exercise Program, or PEP Club; Fit Forever, a fitness class for seniors; Mini Muscles and Fitastic Kids classes for children and Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Jujitsu and Women's self-defense classes are available.
