If you're not getting enough sleep, you could have a sleep disorder--and a threat to your health.
Here is a quick check list to assess whether loss of sleep could be a concern you should share with your
physician.
- I have difficulty falling asleep.
- I wake up and cannot go back to sleep.
- I have been told that I snore.
- My friends and family say I'm often grumpy and irritable.
- I get morning headaches.
- I often feel sleepy and struggle to remain alert.
- I have fallen asleep while driving.
- I have been told that I kick at night.
- During the night I suddenly wake up feeling like I am choking.
- When I am angry or surprised, I feel like my muscles are going limp.
If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, then it is possible that you could have a sleep disorder. For more
