Psalm 29:11



1/3 cup margarine, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg beaten
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoons grounds cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 cup skim milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Vegetable cooking spray
Glaze (recipe follows)

Glaze
2/3 cup sifted powdered sugar 1 tablespoon skim milk
Combine sugar and milk, stirring until smooth. Yield: 1/4 cup

Cream margarine, gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add egg, beating well. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and cloves. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix after each addition. Stir in vanilla.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets that have been coated with cooking spray. Bake at 325° for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool slightly on cookie sheets. Remove cookies to wire racks to cool completely. Drizzle 1/4 teaspoon glaze over each cookie.
