2 Bartlett pears, peeled, cored, and cut into a total of 12 slices in all

12 pitted prunes

3 tablespoons frozen unsweetened apple juice concentrate

teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 lemon or lime, quartered, for garnish


  Place the pears and prunes in a 1-quart microwave casserole.

  Sprinkle with the apple juice concentrate and cinnamon. Cover and microwave on high for about 4 minutes.

  Serve warm or at room temperature.

Yield: Serves 4; Per serving: 132 calories, 0.5 g. total fat, 0.04 g. saturated fat, 6.2 g. fiber, 0 mg. cholesterol, 4 mg. sodium.
