Memphis, Tenn., July 22, 2002 - Baptist Memorial Health Care announced recently that Paul Cade has been named administrator and CEO of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Forrest City.
Cade most recently held the position of assistant administrator at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in New Albany, Miss., and served as director of behavioral health at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Miss.
As administrator and CEO, Cade will be responsible for the daily operations of the hospital, which involves financial management and control, strategic planning and medical staff relations.
Cade’s educational background includes a master’s of education from Mississippi State University and a master’s in administration with a concentration in health care from Central Michigan University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Baptist Memorial Hospital-Forrest City joined the Baptist network in 1983. A year later, construction began on a new 118-bed facility on a 55-acre site, and in 1986, Baptist Forrest City opened its doors to St. Francis County and surrounding areas. The hospital's newly opened, 18-bed geriatric behavioral unit fills a medical gap in eastern Arkansas. Other services include home care and hospice, general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, radiology and cardiology, among others.
