Memphis, Tenn., Jan. 27, 2003 - The Baptist College of Health Sciences will host campus visitation days for prospective students on Thursdays and Saturdays in January, February and March.
During the campus visitation days, the college faculty and staff will talk about the college and what it offers, then conduct tours of the campus. The visitations will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m.; Thursday, March 6 at 6 p.m.; and Saturday, March 29 at 10 a.m. The college is located at 1003 Monroe Ave., where Union Avenue and Pauline intersect. Refreshments will be served, and free parking will be available.
The Baptist College of Health Sciences offers a bachelor of science degree in nursing and a bachelor of health science degree with majors in respiratory care, diagnostic medical sonography, health care management, nuclear medicine technology, medical radiography and radiation therapy technology. It also offers completion degrees for licensed or registered nurses and respiratory therapists. A recent expansion has added more than 42,000 square feet of space to the campus and gives students the opportunity to use high-tech equipment in the classroom.
In addition, the college provides a variety of class schedules, from traditional day classes to evening and weekend programs so professionals can attend while working. The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and participates in many federal and state financial aid programs.
