Memphis, Tenn., Jan.27 2003 - Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, located at 6225 Humphreys Blvd., will offer free community seminars in the hospital’s educational classrooms during the month of February.
The seminars are part of the Dr. Sam P. Patterson Library Seminar Series, which addresses health and wellness issues from stress to reducing the risk of heart disease. Reservations are required and can be made 24 hours a day by calling

This seminar address the risk factors and symptoms of heart disease. Information to help prepare women when going to the physician’s office or the emergency room will be distributed.
“Eating for a Healthy Heart" Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1-2 p.m.

This seminar will teach healthy eating choices, such as how to reduce fat, salt and sugar content from recipes. Plus, the facilitator will teach participants how to read a food label and make wiser food choices.

Learn about current plastic surgery techniques for facelifts, eyelid surgery, breast augmentation, body contouring and breast reconstruction in this seminar. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
