Huntingdon, Tenn., Dec. 11, 2006 – Baptist Home Care and Hospice-Huntingdon recently was recognized as one of the top 100 home care agencies in the nation in the 2006 HomeCare Elite rankings.
The HomeCare Elite list identifies the top 25 percent of home care agencies in the United States based on quality of care, quality improvement and financial performance. In addition, Baptist Home Care and Hospice-Huntingdon is among the top 10 percent of home care agencies in Tennessee in terms of lowest number of readmissions into the hospital.
Baptist Home Care and Hospice-Huntingdon was also recently recognized for its efforts to reduce hospitalization of home care patients. QSource, the agency that monitors quality care in Tennessee for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, recently named Baptist Home Care and Hospice-Huntingdon one of the 10 most improved home care agencies in the state for its low hospital readmission rates.
