MEMPHIS, Tenn., March 4, 2009 - Kimmie McNeil Vaulx was recently promoted to system director of corporate communications for Baptist Memorial Health Care.

Vaulx, who has been a Baptist colleague since 2001, previously served as director of marketing and community involvement in the corporate communications department. The corporate communications department serves as an in-house advertising and communications service for Baptist and includes graphic design, public relations, marketing, Web marketing, internal communications and community relations divisions.

Before coming to Baptist, she served as community relations manager for AutoZone. A graduate of Xavier University in New Orleans, La., Vaulx received her certificate in corporate community relations from the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship.

She has received the Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 award, the 50 Women Who Make a Difference award, sponsored by Memphis Woman magazine, and was named as marketing director of the year in 2004 as part of the Memphis Advertising Federation’s Pyramid Awards.

Vaulx is married to Glenn Vaulx, Jr. and they have two children, Glenn III and Kamryn.
