MEMPHIS, Tenn., June 15, 2009 – Baptist Memorial hospitals recently hired or promoted several colleagues to manager or director positions.
- Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto named Paula Hinson assistant director of pharmacy services. She has been a Baptist colleague since 1999 and previously served as the assistant director of pharmacy services at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis.
- Baptist DeSoto also appointed Jan Tarbox manager of respiratory services. Before coming to Baptist, she worked for Methodist LeBonheur Health Care as the director of Methodist Alliance Home Medical Equipment, as well as the respiratory clinical manager at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis.
- Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women named Rosalee Thompson, who has been with Baptist for 32 years, as director of quality and compliance. She previously served as manager of staff development for Baptist Women’s Hospital.
- Baptist Women’s Hospital also named Kerry Griggs quality performance specialist. In her 22 years with Baptist, Griggs has worked in a variety of roles within the labor and delivery unit, most recently as nurse manager.
- Michelle Britton is now the director of cardiovascular services for Baptist DeSoto. She previously worked at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Miss., as the administrator of the heart and vascular center. She has been in nursing for more than 17 years, specializing in cardiac and critical care.
