JONESBORO, Ark., Nov. 30, 2009 – NEA Baptist recently named James Keller the new director of human resources.
Before joining NEA Baptist, Keller – a graduate of Arkansas State University – worked as director of the human resources department at Ascent Children’s Health Services in Jonesboro and also served as the human resources generalist at FedEx and human resources manager at medical device maker Stryker, both in Memphis, Tenn.
“With all the exciting developments at NEA Baptist, I’m especially honored to be the new director of human resources,” said Keller.
At his most recent position with Ascent Children’s Health Services, Keller was responsible for everything from employee relations and recruiting to providing training seminars and implementing best practices for employee development.
“We believe James is committed to our vision, brings a wealth of experience and will make a great director,” said Paul Betz, administrator and CEO at NEA Baptist.
NEA Baptist is a 100-bed facility. The hospital offers a number of inpatient and outpatient services, including an emergency room, surgical services, neurology, respiratory care, cancer care and pulmonary rehabilitation. NEA Baptist also offers heart care through its Heart Center and labor and delivery services through the hospital's Women's Center.
