On Friday, April 21, 2006, the Redbirds held Kids Opening Day at AutoZone Park. Kids joined P.D. Parrot for a fun night at the ballpark, while the Redbirds played the Oklahoma Redhawks. Kids got a chance to meet P.D. and received a P.D. Parrot doll courtesy of Baptist Memorial Pediatric Care.
