Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle hosted a grand opening celebration for its new bed tower on Monday, May 23, 2005.

The $34 million tower offers 151 patient rooms, each with private accommodations, and is the new home for the hospital’s labor and delivery department featuring labor/delivery/recovery suites and a well baby nursery. The tower also features an automated prescription delivery and tracking system that makes the delivery of medications more safe and efficient and an integrated communication network that can reach nurses and other health care staff anywhere in the hospital and allows them to speak with their patients directly.
