Service First Coin
The Department of Pastoral Care developed the Service First Coin as part of Baptist Memorial Health Care’s Service First program. In December of 1998, members of the department began using these coins to encourage and recognize employees who exemplify The Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Coins are given to staff members who are observed performing outstanding acts of customer service. The goal is for this corporate-wide program to be a unique demonstration of appreciation for those employees who uphold the high standards of Service First.
