What Sets AWARE Apart? Quality. AWARE, an occupational hearing conservation program founded by Baptist Memorial Health Care in 1983, is the only company of its kind in the Mid-South that is a professional service organization member of the National Hearing Conservation Association. Accuracy and timeliness are monitored as part of Baptist's performance improvement process. Highly Qualified Staff All of AWARE's audiologists are licensed and are certified by the American Speech Hearing and Language Association. Its technicians are qualified by the Council for Accreditation of Occupational Hearing Conservation. The company's director of audiology is licensed in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the American Speech Hearing and Language Association and the National Hearing Conservation Association.
